What began as a few intimate dinners in homes across Greater Cleveland grew into Gatherings Kitchen, a warm, friendly, and interactive cooking experience. As a collaborative catering company and cooking school, it was part restaurant, part cooking class, and part home. Yes, home. They say home is where the heart is, and we believe that the kitchen provides the beat. Whether it was your home or ours, our experienced team of chefs brought exceptional cuisine and impeccable service.
HISTORY
In March 2020, the company was challenged to think creatively and swiftly address the changing needs of our customers in an uncertain time. We all craved comfort, consistency, and connection. Our Gatherings to Go prepared suppers for two were born, and quickly grew in popularity.
Owner/Chef Ruth Kostadinov had a vision. A gourmet prepared foods market located just next door to Gatherings Kitchen, where that shared passion for good food and good relationships could blossom into an entirely new offering from the company. Gingham Market opened its doors in Lakewood in July 2022.
At Gingham Market, you will find chef-quality hors d'oeuvres, daily lunch specials, baked goods, cheese & charcuterie boards, artisan pantry goods, wine and beer, freezer-ready staples, and our Gingham to Go suppers. You can shop your Gatherings Kitchen favorites and discover new products that have been thoughtfully curated just for you.
At Gatherings Kitchen, you can participate in interactive classes such as our Supper Club series and Prep School. We also book private events in our commercial kitchen and dining room.
Our team is passionate about the end result: both in the dish and in your experience. Whether it’s in one of our cooking classes at Gatherings Kitchen or at Gingham Market, we are where meals and memories are made.
